Chapter 3 of my book is entitled, “Carpenter and Stone Mason.” Jesus and his earthly father, Joseph, were highly skilled at working with both stone and wood. I not only discuss his carpentry skills but also his ability to build relationships amongst people, according to his principles as the Supreme Builder. As in other chapters, I provide fine art or pop art examples of how creators mirror the highest ideals of the Supreme Creator. I feature Mozart and his music in chapter 3 and thoroughly discuss the libretto and select arias from The Magic Flute - his final opera, which was premiered two months before Mozart died. I analyzed Der Vogelfanger bin ich ja (Now tell me, did you ever see?) and wished to release a companion CD of flute music after my book was published, but the CD was financially prohibitive at the time. I had found an arrangement of the above aria for 2 flutes, which I absolutely adored. Because I love playing piccolo, I thought I could modify this arrangement for solo piccolo. This excerpt is short and sweet!
